- Mow every 4 - 7 days
- Cut at a height of approx. 2.5 to 3.5 inches
- Remove no more than 1/3 of grass height per cut
- Mow in different patterns to reduce tire ruts
- Use sharp mower blades regularly
- Mulch clippings back into the lawn
- Make your last cut before winter short
